First off, thanks for showing interest in becoming a part of the Wysteria family! Wysteria is an RP-Heavy guild with criminal themes. We take the storytelling seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Ultimately, we're here to have fun and provide a safe and inclusive environment for like-minded role players to tell their stories and find community. We hope to welcome you to that community!The venue itself is called Club Wysteria, just like the guild. Club Wysteria is a speakeasy with adult themes. It's owned by an mysterious organization called The Crimson Lotus, or just The Lotus for short. Not every member of Wysteria is part of The Lotus, but a number of members are within their ranks at one level or the other. They're always watching the comings and goings at Club C.The reason I'm referring to Wysteria as a guild and not a Free Company is because not every member of Wysteria is part of the FC proper, many aren't even on Balmung. Membership in the FC is not required to become part of our guild, though everyone in the guild is welcome to join the FC if they wish. If you want to join the FC and have your character on Balmung, just talk to one of the officers of the guild to add you.With all of that out of the way, let's focus on the role of Dancers at Club Wysteria. What's expected of you IC and OOC, what our rules are, and what you'll be doing both during the events and outside of them:♥ It's important to point out that while the theme of the venue is a speakeasy with a strip club as its cover, we are not a brothel and do not offer ERP services during our events. Dancers will be expected to stage dance for the clientele as well as be outgoing and personable. We'd prefer you to use the Say chat for interactions with the clientele and other staff. While we don't expect you to write out every single sway and gyration, we also aren't looking for people who stand around with their dance emotes running while they watch silently. This is an RP venue. We'd like you to RP.♥ Lap dancing is permitted, and in those situations you are free to use the Tell or Party chats to carry that out if you wish. There will be no charging OOC gil for any of the dancing you do here, though you're free to accept tips and keep that gil for yourself. IC gil can be negotiated for lap dancing. IC gil is story currency, not actual in-game currency. OOC gil is what we call that in-game currency.♥ If your character is a sex worker, prostitute, courtesan, escort, whore, or whatever you want to call it, you are free to use the venue and the events to make contacts for further business. We expect you to conduct that business on your own time and not during our events. If you do, we'll part ways with your character. Easy as that.♥ All Dancers Must Be At Least Twenty-One (21) Years Old IC & OOC! No Exceptions! By becoming a dancer at Club Wysteria you are stating to us that this is the case. If it's discovered that you weren't being honest about that, we'll part ways with you and your character.♥ Wysteria uses a Syncshell to share character appearances with fellow staff any our clientele. It's not mandatory to be a part of the Syncshell, but it is highly encouraged. This helps with the immersion for everyone involved. If you need help setting everything up, that help can be easily provided to you.♥ Club Wysteria is a strip club. Dancers Must be comfortable with this OOC. There will be nudity within the venue. Dancers are expected to be comfortable with their characters at least being topless (pasties are fine). If this is an issue for you, this might not be the role for you here in the guild.♥ When it comes to dancer attire, we ask that your vanilla character model be dressed in a way that represents their job, regardless of what outfits they might be wearing in the syncshell. It doesn't have to be picture perfect, but dancers should be recognized as dancers, even when the syncshell isn't working. If you need help acquiring glamour items to carry this out, please talk to one of the officers or your fellow guildmates. They are likely to help you when they have the time to do so.♥ When it comes to modded outfits for your dancer, help finding those is as easy as asking for it. There are plenty of folks here who can and will help you find the sort of clothing you'll need for work. We will not buy your outfits, though. The same goes for modded dance emotes or the game shop emotes needed to make them work. But we have an extensive collection of modded dances and might be able to help there, once you've unlocked your in-game dance emotes.♥ As a dancer, your character will be working directly for Harper (That's me!) in-character. While out of character you're more than free to contact any of our officers for OOC concerns and questions, please direct all IC concerns and questions to Harper. If the matter is HR (Human Resources) related, the matter can be brought directly to Lilah as well, though I'd appreciate an IC heads up about the situation.♥ It's important to keep in mind that we take consent very seriously here. No one should be forcing you to do anything you're not comfortable with OOC, nor should your character have to do that while carrying out their dancer duties IC. If you find your character in a situation that requires immediate help, please use the provided IC Linkshell to contact Harper or and/or the nearest security worker/manager. The situation will be promptly dealt with. Don't just sit on it. While you might be fine dealing with a little drama, other dancers might not be welcome to it.♥ You are not required to show up to every single event we hold. Real Life Comes First Always. That being said, if you are repeatedly absent without warning or explanation, we are likely to move you from IC status to OOC status within the guild. Even then, you'll be free to return to IC status once you're able to become more reliable again.Wysteria will have RP outside of the events. We never close our doors to guests or members who want to use our venue and our setting for RP. You are not required to take part in these RP sessions, but we invite and encourage you to join us whenever you're feeling up to it.
